Dr. Kannan is literally the best physician I've ever had. I wish she could be my doctor for everything. I was nervous, so I set up a phone consult with her. She spent 30 minutes going through the diagnosis, the procedure, the reconstruction, options for scar treatment after the procedure. During the surgery, she was so funny and calming. I am so grateful that she was able to perform my surgery. I barely see the scar 1 month later on my forehead.
I saw Dr. Kannan for what turned out to be an aggressive & large, skin cancer on my face. She is an excellent surgeon. She did a Mohs procedure to remove the cancer and then a few weeks later reconstructed my face. She treats you like a person, not just a case. Due to also having CLL, a form of Leukemia, CT scans of lymph nodes were done to be sure no cancer had drifted. Dr. K. called me with the results because my doctor was out of town & she knew I was anxious about it. Above & beyond IMO.
Dr. Kannan handled my surgery with incredible care. She gave me a very clear preparation and all my options, took time to make sure she did the best job with it she could to ensure fast and full healing, and was very present in the weeks that followed with check ups and after care. Both her skill as a surgeon and her bedside manner are what one would hope for in a doctor. I highly reccomend her.
